Taddeo is running for a seat in District 40 of the Florida State Senate, a post recently vacated by Frank Artiles after he went on a racist and homophobic tirade that resulted in him resigning.
Annette Taddeo, moved to the United States from Colombia at the age of 17 and has been a Miami-Dade resident for over 30 years. Since then, she started a family and founded LanguageSpeak, a successful small business providing translation services in more than 240 languages.
Taddeo is running against State Representative Jose Felix Diaz, an ally and former endorsee of SAVE. While Rep. Diaz is truly a friend of equality, it was clear to our Endorsement Panel that Annette is a true champion for our community.
Accepting the endorsement, Taddeo remarked: “I am thrilled to receive the support of SAVE Action PAC. I’m running to fight for all us, because we all deserve better schools, access to healthcare, and to be treated with dignity and respect.”
SAVE Action PAC has already begun organizing its army of volunteers to support Taddeo for SD 40. In light of the current administration’s attacks on the LGBTQ community, the organization is moving full speed ahead and shows no signs of slowing down.
