NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a runoff election to determine the next Mayor of the Town of Surfside shall be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, following the Municipal Election conducted on March 17, 2026.
Pursuant to a Court Order entered on Monday, April 6, 2026 on an Amended Emergency Petition for Temporary Injunction challenging the April 7, 2026 runoff election date, the following was ordered:
The Runoff Election scheduled for April 7, 2026 shall proceed as scheduled. Additionally, vote-by-mail shall be allowed through and including April 28, 2026.
The Town of Surfside shall comply fully with the Court’s Order and remains committed to upholding the provisions of the Town Charter and applicable law.

The voter registration deadline for the upcoming Surfside runoff has now passed. If you were already registered by March 9, you remain eligible to vote.

Vote by Mail Deadline

Surfside voters must submit their Vote-by-Mail ballot request by the official deadline. Requests may be made online, by phone, or in person through the Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections.
Request your ballot before the deadline to ensure your vote is counted in the upcoming Surfside election.
Your Vote-by-Mail ballot must be received by 7 PM on Election Day.
