On February 15, 2017, more than 100 supporters turned out for SAVE's first ever LGBTQ community townhall. They came with comments and concerns about politics and policy, and local leaders, litigators and officeholders were present to to answer any questions they had.

SAVE is proud to be a member of the Florida Access to Justice Project, a joint project with Progress Florida and the Piper Foundation to address the conspicuous lack of diversity in the court system at all levels of government.

Business Equality Network


In 2016, SAVE joined with Miami Congressman Carlos Curbelo and marketing executive Mike Valdez-Fauli to inaugurate the Business Equality Network, a group of local businesses in favor of workplace equality.

We proved something incredible -- with science!

From January through June 2015, SAVE set out to find how to best reach voters at a granular level in order to reduce the very biases in which fuel anti-LGBTQ campaigns. In order to answer this question, we teamed up to conduct a scientific study with the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Leadership LAB as well as researchers from Stanford and the University of California Berkeley.
