OUTShine Presents: THE DRIVE

Join SAVE as OUTShine's Community Partner for a screening of The Drive - a vibrant portrait of the LGBTQ+ community of Wilton Manors, Florida, as it navigates an increasingly hostile political climate. Framed by the 2024 election, the years that follow, and Trump 2.0, the film explores the political, cultural, and personal forces reshaping queer life in one of America’s most visible LGBTQ+ communities. Through intimate stories, community voices, colorful characters, and events along Wilton Drive, The Drive moves beyond politics to celebrate the people who have made Wilton Manors a haven for generations. The result is both a snapshot of a community under pressure and a heartfelt love letter to The Drive—its history, resilience, and uniquely exuberant queer spirit.
