SAVE Your Education

A free, virtual workshop to teach you how to acquire all kinds and types of (internal & external) scholarships! This workshop is hosted by William Harless. William was a Fall 2025 SAVE Advocacy & Outreach intern. William is a senior at the University of Miami who graduated high school with over $60,000 worth of external scholarships. These external scholarships, combined with internal scholarships, granted him the ability to attend UM debt-free.

During this engaging session, participants will learn:

• How to identify and access lesser-known scholarship opportunities.

• How to highlight personal strengths, experiences, and goals in applications.

• Strategies to make scholarship essays and forms stand out.

While scholarship outcomes can never be guaranteed, this workshop aims to equip students with concrete tools and insights to strengthen their applications, and build confidence with their stories.
